I seem to remember that one thing I share with LSG is the belief that I somehow grew up in an alternative version of the ’80s where The Icicle Works’ “Understanding Jane” was a sort of important song that all the alternative rock kids knew about, only to emerge into a new century in this universe where no one knew what the fuck I was talking about when I brought up the song or the band.
