Arsenal’s insistence on paying all of its bills and maintaining a tight salary structure means they can no longer be considered in the same breath with the Manchester giants, Chelsea and maybe even a resurgent Liverpool, but Wenger has enough talent — if not enough squad depth, especially at the back — to challenge for a top four finish. However, Gunners supporters cannot expect the same amount of luck they enjoyed last year when everyone else’s failures handed Arsenal third place. This time, qualifying for the next Champions League seems to be a longshot.
Predicted Finish: Sixth to Eighth
